The Wyoming Community Navigator Program (CNP) has the resources to support your small business dreams. The Wyoming SBDC Network coordinates the Community Navigator Program with our six partners, working to offer specialized assistance to traditionally underserved small business entrepreneurs throughout Wyoming.

In 2021, the Wyoming SBDC Network served over 1,600 clients and helped start 80 businesses. The Wyoming Community Navigator Program is your front door to valuable resources that help unleash your full potential.

Q: How much does it cost?

A: It’s simple: we want you to succeed. Thanks to funding from the U.S. Small Business Administration, the resources provided by the Wyoming CNP are available to you at no cost.


Q: Who is the program for?

A: The program directs outreach to underserved communities including but not limited to rural, women-owned, minority-owned, and micro business owners to gain greater access to capital and receive specialized and targeted business advising, and ultimately diversify Wyoming’s economy.


Q: Who are the program partners?

A: The Wyoming SBDC Network coordinates the activities of six business resource partners to assist Wyoming entrepreneurs. CNP partners include the Wyoming Smart Capital Network, University of Wyoming Extension, Wyoming Women’s Business Center, Wyoming Library to Business, The Local Crowd, and the Wind River Development Fund. Each partner provides specialized business resources and assistance. Your SBDC advisor can help match those resources with your specific needs.


Q: Does my location matter to participating in the program?

A: Any small business entrepreneur located and operating in Wyoming can access these resources statewide – no matter where you live! The Wyoming SBDC Network has offices strategically located throughout the state and meeting locations in every Wyoming county. We can also meet virtually if that is your preference. Our partners are also located throughout the state and can assist you from your location.
